Senior QA Engineer (Freelance – Strasbourg-based / Relocation Required)

Client Description

Our client is an international IT Services and Software Solutions provider , supporting large-scale projects for European institutions and global organizations.

Core Responsibilities

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios
• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA / Testing
• Strong experience in test planning and execution
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Experience with SQL and databases
• Experience in test automation
• Experience in Agile environments

• Experience with containerized environments
• Familiarity with observability tools
• Experience in enterprise system integration
