# Manager Role Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a country-specific sales plan that aligns with regional revenue targets and channel strategy.
- Generate, qualify, and continuously expand a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and partner referrals.
- Own the full sales cycle:
first contact, technical-commercial proposal, negotiation, PO pursuit, and contract signature. - Build and maintain trusted relationships with EPCs, installers, distributors, wholesalers, and key decision-makers across procurement, engineering, and finance.
- Coordinate internally with product management, engineering, supply-chain, and after-sales teams to deliver competitive quotations and on-time deliveries.
- Provide accurate rolling forecasts and CRM updates; use data to refine pricing, packaging, and go-to-market tactics.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, roadshows, and customer events; deliver technical presentations when required.
- Track market trends, competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and customer feedback; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the solar PV industry, preferably with mounting or balance-of-system products.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual sales quotas and closing multi-year supply agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Established network of solar installers, EPCs, or distributors in the target territory is a strong plus.
- Solid grasp of international procurement processes, Incoterms, and project finance basics.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills; comfortable selling on both technical and economic value.
- Self-driven, accountable, and able to work remotely across time zones with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to the territory are a plus.
