You're looking for a role where you lead a strategic project for one of the largest telecom operators on the market? Join a fast-growing European group , a recognized player in the construction of telecom and electricity networks, which has secured a major fiber optic deployment contract. Take charge of the client relationship and team coordination on this project from day one, as:

Project Manager - Fiber optics - German / French (m/f/d), France / Germany

What we count on you for - Your mission

You lead the deployment of the fiber optic sites entrusted to us by our client in the French-German border region, from team coordination through to final handover.

• You coordinate the internal and subcontracted teams on site, eventually ten to fifteen teams
• You manage the client relationship on a daily basis, including reporting, case follow-up and invoicing
• You take part in the opening of a new office , in particular the search for premises and the recruitment of teams, including site supervisors
• You are the central point of contact between the teams on site, management and the client
• You travel frequently during the first weeks of the project, up to a maximum of 50% of your time, before moving to a more office-based routine, with regular visits to Germany, in particular client visits
• You contribute to achieving the project's goals, between meeting site deadlines and securing the continuation of the programme

Why we want you on our team - your strengths

• Your background: a first successful experience in civil engineering, construction or telecoms, around 2 years, ideally as a business manager, site manager or project manager, or comparable experience. No specific degree is required. Initial team management experience is a big plus.
• Your languages: fluent German and French, ideally all three languages
• Your IT skills: the IT manager will train you on internal tools during a one-week onsite induction when you join
• Your style & personality: excellent interpersonal skills and natural leadership to guide the on-site teams and liaise with the client
