DevSecOps Engineer | Long-term freelance contract | 100% on-site | Strasbourg | Major European agency | Competitive remuneration

We are actively seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a long-term freelance contract within a major European agency.

Based in Strasbourg, you will join an international technical team and play a central role in securing and automating the software development lifecycle, embedding a DevSecOps culture at the heart of the team's practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Deploy and sustain a coherent DevSecOps strategy across projects: define processes, equip teams with the right tooling, and ensure its adoption in day-to-day development practices.

• Design and maintain the tools and infrastructure supporting the software development lifecycle, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and alignment with team needs.

• Implement and optimise robust CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous, secure, and efficient delivery of application components.

• Analyse the quality and security of code produced by development teams, formulate clear recommendations, and actively contribute to raising the overall technical standard.

• Monitor the status of networks, servers, and applications to ensure the availability and performance of production systems.

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer.

• Proficiency in industry-standard DevSecOps tools: Git, GitHub, OpenShift, Helm, Kafka, Istio.

• Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.

• Experience in network, server, and application monitoring.

• Good level of English (minimum B2).

• Ability to produce technical documentation and present findings clearly to a variety of stakeholders.

• Motivation and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
