ABAKUS IT-Solutions - Senior System Engineer

We're looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team as part of an international consortium of leading ICT companies. Responsibilities As a System Engineer, your role will be vital in ensuring the stability and innovation of our operations. You will Provide Expert Support : Deliver L3-level technical support to operational teams. Solve Complex Challenges : Analyze root causes and resolve issues in collaboration with architects and customer teams Automate & Maintain : Enhance system processes through automation and maintain up-to-date documentation Contribute to Knowledge Sharing : Organize and participate in knowledge transfer sessions to empower teams Support Strategic Projects : Play a key role in infrastructure-related initiatives aligned with your expertise Requirements 5+ years of ICT experience in roles such as System Engineer, SRE, or DevOps A Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience Strong expertise in at least two technical domains, such as: Storage: HPE solutions, VEEAM, Ceph Virtualization: VMware Operating Systems: RHEL, Windows Networking: Cisco ACI, routing, Firewalling Physical Infrastructure: HPE ILO, rack systems Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Python, Linux Shell scripting, and GIT Proficiency with Ansible Tower/Automation Platform Familiarity with ITIL V3 principles An analytical mindset, a proactive attitude, and a strong focus on collaboration Fluency in English (C1 level) Availability for 75% onsite presence in Strasbourg if not based locally Experience with public institutions or international clients is a plus Why join ABAKUS IT solutions?
